heres a really (really) rough step by step of "Im Golden"

Thats not for you hun.

This was one of those times when an image just popped into my head and i had to draw it immediately. Im happy with the way it turned out. I have a lot of memories like this, i was barely tall enough to look over tables for a long time.

Midnight Bloom

The latest and greatest. My mom is completely in love with this one haha. She had it printed on some Mugs and mouse pads. She's adorable, i love her, and im glad she liked it so much :)

Throwboy Pillows

!!! THEY'RE HERE !!!

(well they've been here for a few days now)

    

First things first, I need to start this off by making sure you're aware of these adorable pillows being sold at a little site called Throwboy Pillows. If you love the internet, cyber talk, or just pillows in general then trust me you'll love these!

    

They're all handmade (and with love in every stitch im sure) by my very talented friend Roberto Hoyos. (thats him in the picture below)

When you buy a pillow from him he also sends you a thank you card and pin. My favorite thing about these thank you cards is that every batch printed features a different artist and I was lucky enough to be thought of for the new batch that was made!!! We went back and forth with ideas for the card and finally came up with a Peanuts theme (the long version of  that story is better and he has a youtube video here talking about it) once we had the idea down i went forward and drew it up.

   

and ahh they're printed and now being shipped to the very lovely people buying his pillows!! How exciting!! Anyways i just wanted to talk a bit about it; i'm just so honored and happy to have been asked in the first place.

i haven't painted in a while.

i've been pretty glued to my pen and tablet lately, i really need to break out the 'ol canvas and paint brush. I also haven't really heard anything new (music wise) in a while and thats usually how my paintings start.

Calender

New Year

as a resolution for this new year i've decided to draw something (anything) everyday. i have horrible consistency with drawing daily and i've decided to make little calendars for each month to help inspire me to keep it up. (heres what i have so far for January)

and heres what i drew for the seventh.

i was surfing the 'ol interwebs when i came across some really interesting old mug shot photos. which is what i used as reference.
